Andrew Jon Dotson

Andrew Jon Dotson, age 31, of Broken Arrow, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024. He was born on July 9, 1992 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Tim and Janet Dotson. He lived a life marked by lots of laughs, charisma, and love. 

He graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma and went on to run his own sod installation company named KJD Sod Farms, where he worked in every aspect of the sod industry. Andrew had a love for many hobbies and changed them frequently. His favorite things were fishing, pickleball, and anything to do with his son Kai. 

He is survived by his wife, Yukari and son, Kai Dotson, his parents, Tim and Janet Dotson, his grandmothers, Judy Meehan and Martina Dotson, his siblings, David and Ariel Dotson, and many more family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Buck Meehan and Big’n Dotson. 

Andrew was always a happy person especially when it came to his son Kai and his wife Yukari. He was extremely active in Lifetime Fitness’ pickleball community. He was incredibly passionate about fishing and recently taught his son Kai how to fish as well. He loved his family, golfing, pickleball and frisbee golf. Andrew will be remembered as someone who could always make you laugh, negotiate any deal, and as a real smooth talker who was great with people. 

Services celebrating Andrew’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at the First Christian Church in Coweta, Oklahoma. He will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.
