Amanda Joan Smith

Amanda Joan Smith, age 40, of Coweta, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Amanda was born on August 12, 1985, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Dee Watts and Robbie (Jackson) Watts.

Amanda grew up in Coweta and graduated from Coweta High School in 2004. She later attended Tulsa Community College, completing some college coursework. Amanda dedicated her life to her family and was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her home and loved ones.

Amanda had a vibrant personality and loved spending time outdoors. She enjoyed playing softball and was a big fan of Oklahoma Sooners football, always getting excited when it was time to cheer on the Sooners. Music was another passion of Amanda’s, especially modern country, and it was often part of the soundtrack to her life. She loved being outside and found joy in the simple moments spent with family and friends.

Above all else, Amanda loved her family. Her greatest pride and joy were her daughters, who meant the world to her. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, and mother whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Amanda is survived by her husband, Preston Smith; her daughters, Gracelyn “Gracie” Smith, and Emberlyn “Emmy Jo” Smith; her parents, Dee and Robbie Watts; her sister, Quay Matheny; her niece, Ashlyn Matheny; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Randall and Wanda Jackson, and Joan Watts.

A memorial service honoring Amanda’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma.
