Angela “Angie” Kaye Fisher, age 57, of Coweta, OK, passed away on Thursday evening, January 15, 2026, at her home in Coweta, OK.
Angie was born on May 11, 1968, in Fort Worth, TX, to John Allen Gwinnup and Marie Gwinnup. She later made Coweta her home, where she built a life centered on family, friendships, and meaningful work. Angie graduated from Coweta High School with the Class of 1986 and went on to earn an associate degree in Insurance Services.
Angie dedicated more than 35 years of her career to State Farm, where she worked as a Technical Specialist in the insurance industry. She was known for her knowledge, dedication, and strong work ethic, and she took great pride in helping others through her work.
Family was at the heart of Angie’s life. She deeply loved her children and cherished time spent with them. Angie also enjoyed riding motorcycles, listening to music, coloring, traveling, and spending time with her friends. She had a true passion for Ford Mustangs and loved anything Coca-Cola, often surrounding herself with items that reflected those interests. She was an avid dog lover and found joy in the companionship and comfort her dogs provided. Angie lived life fully and valued the relationships she built along the way.
Angie is survived by her children, Vannessa Richey and husband David of Broken Arrow, OK, and Sean Fisher and partner Maddie Breedlove of Tulsa, OK; her sisters, Ann Dismang and husband Kevin of Wagoner, OK, and Jan Burr and husband Travis of Coweta, OK; her nieces and nephews, Zack Dismang, Jake Dismang, Raegan Burr, and Logan Burr; her husband, Sam Fisher; and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Allen Gwinnup and Marie Gwinnup, and her grandparents, Ray and Irene Brazille.
Angie will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the joy she brought to those who knew her. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched and the love she shared.
A memorial service celebrating Angie’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Coweta, OK.
