Anita Nell (Morgan) Brazinsky

Anita Nell (Morgan) Brazinsky entered the gates of Heaven on May 19th, 2025 at the age of 78, at BeeHive Assisted Living in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

She was born in Coweta, Oklahoma on November 14, 1946 to Albert and Iva Mae Morgan. Anita attended Coweta Public Schools, graduating in 1965. In high school, Anita was a leader on the varsity basketball team. She was also an accomplished pianist, playing at churches and other local functions whenever she was needed.

After high school, Anita attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in 1970 and a Master of Education degree in 1977. In college, she taught tennis lessons and also served as a Resident Assistant. After graduation, she spent many years teaching civics and government for both the Coweta and Jenks Public Schools systems.

On August 15, 1987, Anita married her beloved husband, Adolph Bernard Brazinsky at Harwelden Mansion in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They enjoyed many happy years together.

Anita’s interests and activities included music, traveling, reading, and caring for her pet schnauzers. She also enjoyed watching nature from her porch and spending time with her family.

Anita is survived by her husband, Adolph Brazinsky; her sisters, Barbara Dill of Coweta and Myrna Gibbons of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her nieces and nephews, Mike and Robyn Dill, Donny and Jo Dill, Brad and Ladonna Jeffers, and Donna and Kenneth Elliott. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Iva Mae Morgan.

Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, June 5th, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma
