Bryan Keith Vandiver, resident of Broken Arrow, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with his family by his side, at the age of 45. He leaves behind a life marked by hard work, loyalty, and a deep love for the cowboy way of life.

Bryan was born on January 21, 1981, and is the beloved son of the late James “Jim” Ward Vandiver and Judy Carol (Beaty) Vandiver. He was a devoted brother to Chris Vandiver and his wife Karen of Coweta, OK, Mike Vandiver and his wife Erica of Coweta, OK, and Debbie Kloss and her husband Robert of Queen Creek, AZ. He was a cherished uncle to Brooke Cook and her husband Nicholas, Hunter Vandiver, Nicholas Vandiver and wife Samantha, Samuel Vandiver and wife Hannah, Matthew Kloss, Robert Kloss, Tyler Vandiver and wife Kalee, Bailey Riggs and wife Karlee, Tucker Vandiver and wife Jaleana, Simon Riggs, and Zachary Kloss; in addition to many great nieces and nephews. He is also remembered with love by his aunts and uncles, Clarence and Becky Vandiver, Alan Vandiver, Carol Floyd, Dale Beaty, Diane and Linda Beaty, Vivian Vandiver, many cousins, extended family members, and a lifetime of friends.

Bryan grew up in Broken Arrow and attended Broken Arrow High School before following the path that truly captured his heart. He fell in love with the cowboy way of life and the work that came with it, especially the care and handling of livestock. He took great pride in roping competitions, working reining horses, and showing cattle and horses. He appreciated the craftsmanship and identity of custom-made spurs bearing his initials, a fitting reflection of the pride he took in his work and the life he built.

He grew up attending Lone Star Baptist Church with his parents, where he was grounded in faith, family, and community. Bryan most recently worked for Joe Don and Breckelyn Eaves at the Tulsa Stockyards, where his knowledge, skill, and dependable nature were valued by those who knew him. Bryan worked for Kirt and Judy Wingate breaking and training cow and roping horses, a job that he enjoyed and took great pride in. That practical ability, combined with his strong work ethic, made him a respected presence among family, friends, and coworkers alike.

Bryan will be remembered for his rugged and stubborn spirit, his love for the cowboy way he carried throughout his life. He found joy in honest work, in the traditions he embraced, and in the people who shared his journey. Those who knew him will remember his dedication, his skill, and the way he lived with purpose and pride.

Though his time on earth was far too short, Bryan Keith Vandiver leaves behind a legacy of devotion, cowboy grit, and a life lived true to himself. His memory will remain a source of comfort and pride to all who loved him.
