Carlos LaDon McHenry

Carlos LaDon McHenry, age 59, resident of Broken Arrow, OK, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. He was born on November 1, 1965, in Muskogee, OK to Carl and Mae Frances (Jones) McHenry. Carlos will be fondly remembered for his dedication to his work as a landscaper, a profession he embraced throughout his life, showcasing his passion for the outdoors and commitment to beautifying the environment.

A proud graduate of St. John Boscoe High School in Bellflower, CA, Carlos continued to demonstrate his intelligence and resourcefulness throughout his life. He possessed a remarkable talent for working with his hands, which he channeled into various hobbies. A lover of film, he enjoyed collecting and watching movies. Additionally, he found joy in building model trains and working on cars, activities that reflected his meticulous nature and creativity.

Carlos is survived by his wife, Teresa Cooper of Broken Arrow, OK; his sons, Mark McHenry of Broken Arrow, OK, and Trevon McHenry of Fontana, CA; as well as his stepson, Bradley Cooper.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mae Frances McHenry, who instilled in him many of the values he carried throughout his life.

A private family service will be held to honor Carlos's memory and celebrate the life he led. As he is remembered, those who knew him will carry forward the warmth, kindness, and creativity he shared with the world.
