Carol "Lynne" Shupert, age 63, resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 3, 2026, at her home.
Lynne was born on July 2, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to John Clifford Shupert, Jr. and Alyce Nell (Blevins) Shupert. She graduated from Memorial High School with the Class of 1981, and attended Tulsa Community College.
Lynne dedicated many years of her career to Sheffield Steel, where she worked in Quality Control. She was respected for her attention to detail, dependable work ethic, and commitment to doing every job well.
More than anything, Lynne loved her family. Her greatest joy in life was caring for her grandsons, Taylor and Jack, and spending time with those she loved most. She enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends, taking trips to the beach, spending relaxing days at the lake, working on the old pickup with Kirk, and creating cherished memories with those around her. Her warm smile, caring heart, and selfless spirit made everyone feel welcome and loved.
Lynne is survived by her son, Shawn Shupert; her beloved grandsons, Taylor Shupert and Jack Shupert; her sister, Melissa Jacobsen; her nephew, Eric Stehm and wife Cheryl; her niece, Jennifer Thompson and husband Jeremy; her niece, Sarah Conroy; her nephew, Timothy Conroy and wife Andrea; her nephew, Cole Jacobsen; her niece, Samantha Love and husband Sean; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Clifford Shupert, Jr. and Alyce Nell Shupert; her longtime companion, Kirk Tipton; and her sister, Diane Conry.
Although her time on earth was far too short, Lynne's love, kindness, and devotion to her family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her compassionate spirit, generous heart, and the love she freely gave to everyone around her.
A memorial service celebrating Lynne's life will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma, with Pastor Mike Harris officiating.
