Cody James Cullen

Cody James Cullen, age 36, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Cody was born on November 10, 1989, in Eustis, Florida, to Mark Clark Cullen and Patricia Mary (Walkingstick) Cullen. He attended Broken Arrow High School and later pursued his passion for cooking through the Culinary Arts program at Oklahoma State University.

Cody had a servant’s heart and was known for his quiet strength and deep love for his family. He devoted much of his time caring for his father, showing a level of loyalty, compassion, and selflessness that defined who he was. He had a natural way of connecting with people and found joy in simply being present with those he loved.

He loved animals and was most at peace when surrounded by them. Cody also cherished time spent with his girlfriend, Tiler, who brought him happiness and companionship. Whether it was sharing time with family, being outdoors, or enjoying life’s simple moments, Cody found meaning in the relationships he held close.

Cody is survived by his mother, Patricia Cullen of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his brother, Joel Lee Cullen of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his maternal grandmother, Mary Walkingstick of Stilwell, Oklahoma; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Mae Cullen of Tavares, Florida; his niece, Savannah Cullen; and a large and loving family of aunts and uncles, including Michael, Steven, Mary, Charles, Colleen, Christopher, Joseph, Andrew, Susan, Regina, and Cheryl.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Clark Cullen; his brother, Mitchell Cullen; his maternal grandfather, Leo Walkingstick; his paternal grandfather, Leonard Cullen; and his uncles, Michael Cullen and Thomas Walkingstick.

Cody will be remembered for his kind heart, his gentle spirit, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. His presence brought comfort, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service celebrating Cody’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Forest Ridge Baptist Church, 8300 S. Oneta Road, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, with Pastor Kent House and Pastor Brent White officiating.
