David Lee Wofford

September 13, 2012 David Lee Wofford passed from this life on September 12, 2012 at the age of 57 years, 11 months and 5 days. He was born on October 7, 1954 in Tulsa, OK to James David and Thelma (Randeau) Wofford. David attended Broken Arrow High School and was a member of Broken Arrow Pride. On March 2, 1974, he married Mary Ann Brown in De Soto, MO and worked as a lock technician the most part of his life. David loved helping people. Whether he was working as a Jenks Reserve Police Officer or a Volunteer Broken Arrow Firefighter, helping others was his number one priority. If he wasn't helping others, you could find David and Mary out on the open road riding his Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic motorcycle. He loved his wife, son, grandkids, family and his Harley-Davidson family. He was a wonderful man and will be dearly missed. David was preceded in death by his father, James David Wofford; and brother, Terry Lynn Wofford. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Wofford; son, Michael Lee Wofford and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Nicholas Isaiah Spears, William Avery James Wofford, and Olivia Paige Wofford; mother, Thelma Wofford; brother, Larry Wofford and wife Leslie; nieces, Karrie Roberts and Kristie Wofford; and numerous other family members and many friends. A Memorial will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at the Kennedy-Kennard Funeral Home in Broken Arrow. www.kennedycares.com
