Boni
Nov 24, 1955 — Aug 27, 2026
Coweta
Deborah Ann “Debbie” Boni, age 70, of Coweta, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at St. John Hospital in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Debbie was born on November 24, 1955, in Warren, Ohio, to Harold Cain, Jr. and Teresa Ann (Gravink) Clapper.
Debbie grew up in Ohio and graduated from Leavittsburg High School in 1974. She later continued her education at Bible college and graduated from Domata School of Ministry in 2012. On August 31, 1974, she married Nicholas Michael Boni, beginning a marriage and a life together that would be centered around family, faith, and service to others.
For more than two decades, Debbie faithfully served alongside her husband as a missionary. Their ministry took them to Central & South America, England, and the Philippines where Debbie had a special heart for working with women and young girls. She and Nick traveled throughout the nations ministering in churches and sharing their faith with others. Her years of ministry touched lives across the world.
Debbie worked at Tamco Distribution Center in Austintown, Ohio for approximately 15 years. For the past year, she worked at Coweta High School. She attended World Outreach Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
When Debbie was not serving others, some of her greatest joys could be found at home with her family. She loved reading books, flowers, gardening, and cooking. Above all, she loved her children and grandchildren. Her family was incredibly important to her, and the time she shared with them was among her greatest treasures.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Nicholas Michael Boni; her children, Dr. Christopher Boni and wife Christy of Richmond, Kentucky, and Timothy Boni and wife Rachel of Coweta, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Lindsey Overbay and fiancé Ryder, Olivia Boni, Nicholas Boni, Asher Boni, Jonathan Boni, and Isabella Boni; her sister, Tina White of Kinsman, Ohio; her brother, Michael Cain and wife Dorthea of Southington, Ohio; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Cain, Jr. and Teresa Ann Clapper, and her grandson, Alexander Michael Boni.
