Delphia Louise Williams

Delphia Louise Williams, age 87, resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Thursday afternoon, July 9, 2026, at her home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Delphia was born on September 17, 1938, in Coweta, Oklahoma, to Arthur J. and Sarah Emma (Darden) Copeland. She was raised in Coweta and graduated from Coweta High School with the Class of 1956. On June 7, 1957, she married the love of her life, Charles Wayne "Charlie" Williams. Together they shared 54 wonderful years of marriage until Charlie's passing in 2012.

A devoted wife, mother, and faithful Christian, Delphia was a longtime member of Arrow Heights Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, where she faithfully taught third-grade Sunday School for many years. Her quiet faith and servant's heart touched countless lives, and she cherished the friendships she made through her church family. One of her favorite memories was traveling with the church to Hawaii in 1980.

Delphia enjoyed a successful career in the insurance industry, working as an insurance agent for more than 30 years with Home Insurance Agency, Broken Arrow Insurance Agency, and Bob Jackson Insurance Agency. In addition to her insurance career, she proudly managed the office for Williams Wrecker Service alongside her husband, Charlie, from 1965 until their retirement in 2008. She was known for her dedication, professionalism, and warm personality that made clients feel like friends.

More than anything, Delphia treasured her family. She found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved, supporting her husband in their business, and creating a home filled with kindness, faith, and encouragement. Her gentle spirit, unwavering love, and steadfast example will remain an inspiration to all who knew her.

She is survived by her two sons, Keith Williams of Coweta, Oklahoma and Mark Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her niece, Doris Vaughn of Porter, Oklahoma; her nephew, Jim Copeland of Jenks, Oklahoma; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many cherished friends and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Wayne "Charlie" Williams; her parents, Arthur J. and Sarah Emma Williams; and her siblings, James Copeland and Nova Hargrove.

Delphia will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her servant's heart, her love for her family, and the quiet grace with which she lived her life. Her legacy of kindness, devotion, and Christian love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at Brown's Funeral Service in Coweta, Oklahoma. Funeral services celebrating Delphia's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. Bob Green officiating. Burial will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.
