Donna Sue Cooper, age 81, of Bixby, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, April 11, 2026, at her home in Bixby, Oklahoma.
Donna was born on July 29, 1944, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Foye Lee Smith, Sr. and Nellie Lorene (Fisher) Smith. She was raised in Oklahoma City and graduated from Capitol Hill High School. She carried the values of hard work, loyalty, and devotion to family with her throughout her life.
Donna spent many years working as an assistant butcher at Super H Grocery Store, where she became known for her dependability, kindness, and dedication to her job. After years of service, she retired and focused her time on the things she loved most—her family and home.
On December 21, 1965, Donna was united in marriage to the love of her life, Edd Wayne Cooper. Together, they built a life centered on love, hard work, and devotion to one another and their family.
Donna found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved reading, going shopping, and especially spending time with her family. Whether it was a visit, a conversation, or just being together, those moments meant everything to her. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her family first. Donna also worked alongside her husband, Edd, helping with construction projects, never hesitating to lend a hand and support him in any way she could.
Donna will be remembered for her caring heart, her quiet strength, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. She created a home filled with warmth and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
