Gayle Ann Stringer

A Celebration of Life will be held at CrossPoint Baptist Church, located at 28298 E. 141st St. S. in Coweta, OK. The service will be on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM.

Gayle Ann Stringer, 68, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026. She was born on December 25, 1957, to John Robert Jackson and lla Reed Jackson.

Gayle graduated from Francis Tuttle as a Certified Respiratory Therapist and later worked as a Sleep Study Technician. She dedicated her career to caring for others with compassion, kindness, and professionalism.

A woman of unwavering faith, Gayle loved the Lord and found great joy in sharing the Gospel with everyone she met. She truly never met a stranger.

Her warm smile, gentle spirit, and caring heart made people feel loved, welcomed, and valued. Gayle found happiness in life's simple blessings. She loved gardening and surrounding her home with beautiful flowers. She adored her beloved Chihuahuas, Peep and CoCo, who were faithful companions. Yes even, crazy CoCo. She especially enjoyed shopping for thoughtful gifts for family and friends and was known for sending greeting cards, often with bookmarks tucked inside as a small reminder that someone cared. Through it all, she faced chronic illnesses with remarkable strength, grace, and faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Robert Jackson and Ila Reed Jackson, and by her beloved Uncle Barney, her father's twin brother, who held a special place in her heart as a second father.

Gayle leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 29 years, Rodney Stringer; her daughter, Brandy Quillin and fiancé David Gallagher; her son, Zachary Ahmadi and his wife Cassie; her sisters, Sharon Sanchez and her husband, Rueben, Janet Spaulding and her husband, Richard; her cherished "sister from another mother," Peggy Brown and her husband, Calvin; and her treasured grandchildren, Morgan Quillin, Madison Snow, and Axel Ahmadi, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives she touched. We can’t leave out Madison’s beloved husband Tobyn Snow. Gayle loved him from when he was a young boy. She lit up every time she saw him. Thank you Tobyn for making Gayle smile even at the end.

Gayle's legacy is one of faith, generosity, compassion, and unconditional love. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of her Savior, free from pain and rejoicing in eternal peace. Though her absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, the love she shared and the memories she created will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.

"'I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8.
