Gloria Jean Kaiser, affectionately known as Jean to her friends and family, age 79, of Coweta, OK (formerly of Wagoner, OK) passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Coweta, OK. She was born on December 24, 1945, in Concord, NC to Marvin Edward and Hazel Bradford (Ellington) Mullis. Jean's warmth and vivacity brought light and love into the lives of all who knew her.
Jean attended Hamilton Junior High School and Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, OK. Her pursuit of knowledge led her to Tulsa Junior College, where she furthered her education before embarking on a fulfilling career. For 35 years, Jean dedicated her professional life to Dresser-Rand Company as a purchasing agent, a role in which she excelled until her well-deserved retirement.
Jean's personal life was marked by love and companionship when she married her soulmate, Robert "Bob" Lee Kaiser, on May 9, 1962.
Jean's life was rich with interests and hobbies that reflected her vibrant personality. A passionate collector, she took great joy in acquiring Jewel Tea pieces, and her enthusiasm for this pursuit was shared with fellow members of the National Autumn Leaf Collector's Club. Her culinary skills were unmatched, and she found pleasure in cooking for those she loved. Antique cars held a special place in her heart, especially her cherished black 1950 Ford, fondly named "Black Molly." Jean's Friday nights were often spent playing cards, a tradition she looked forward to each week.
A woman of many passions, Jean's love for horses and genealogy spoke to her appreciation for both history and nature. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Jean's companionship with her beloved bird, Goober, and her admiration for Elvis Presley's music added further joy to her life.
Jean leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her 3 devoted children, Michael Todd Mullis and wife Sonia of Coweta, OK, Sherri Lynn White and husband Mark of Tulsa, OK, and Bobbi Michelle McKinney and husband Shawn of Coweta, OK; 8 grandchildren, Joshua Hannah, Ashley Salisbury, Adam Springsted, Zachary White, Chandler Sweetwood, Remi VandenBorn, Kylee Dirteater, and Kelsey McKinney; and 15 great-grandchildren. Jean's life was also enriched by numerous other relatives who will miss her dearly.
Preceding her in death were her beloved husband, Bob Kaiser, her parents, Marvin Edward and Hazel Bradford Mullis, and her sister, Martha Ladd Frank.
Jean's memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched, and her legacy will be celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Visitation for Jean will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, OK. Services celebrating Jean's life will take place at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK. She will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, OK.
