Irma Paulette McClain, affectionately known as Paulette to her friends and family, passed away peacefully at home in Porter, OK, on Sunday morning, September 14, 2025, at the age of 79. She was born on March 27, 1946, in Oktaha, OK to Lloyd Lee “Buddy” and Flossie Lee (McMillan) Victory. Paulette's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and service to those around her.
Paulette was a proud graduate of Coweta High School, where she formed lifelong friendships and developed a passion for learning that would continue throughout her life. Her career as a realtor at Ralph Sanders Realty in Coweta spanned many years, during which she became a respected figure in the community. Her professionalism, integrity, and warm personality made her a favorite among clients and colleagues alike.
Beyond her professional achievements, Paulette was a woman of many interests. She had a creative spirit and found joy in crafts, a hobby that allowed her to express her artistic side and brought her immense satisfaction. However, her greatest pleasure came from spending time with her family. She was the heart of every gathering, and her presence was a source of comfort and happiness to those she loved.
Paulette's family was her pride and joy. She is survived by her siblings, Carol Dean Bowlin, Phyllis Kay Schoel and husband Rick, Gerry Sue Victory and fiancé Glenn Pope, Derrell Don Victory, Debra May Corley and husband Keith, Rebekah Lynn Patterson and husband Todd, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Lee "Buddy" and Flossie Lee Victory, and her siblings, Donald Eugene Victory, Wilma Maudeen Martin, Jeraldine "Betoot" Egleson, and Ruth Ann Rosamond, who have welcomed her with open arms.
Her spirit, her laughter, and her love will forever be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A memorial service to celebrate Paulette's life will be held from 2:00 - 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Porter Civic Center, located at 529 S. Main Street, Porter, OK 74454. The service will be a time for family and friends to gather, share memories, and honor the remarkable woman that Paulette was.
