Jeanne Louise Dalton

Jeanne Louise Dalton, age 78, resident of Coweta, OK, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, January 8, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She was born on September 30, 1947, in San Pedro, CA.

Jeanne's journey began as the cherished daughter of Dean Gold and Julia Louise (Stobbs) Anthony. She grew up alongside her siblings, creating a tapestry of memories that would last a lifetime. Jeanne's heart found its match when she married Dick Lawrence Dalton on December 20, 1969, in Hawthorne, CA. Their love story was one for the ages, filled with shared dreams and unwavering support until Dick's passing.

A devoted mother and homemaker, Jeanne poured her love into raising her three children, Chris, Amber, and Robert, instilling in them the values of courage, generosity, and joy. Her culinary skills as a chef were only surpassed by her dedication to her family, creating a home that was always filled with the aroma of delicious meals and the laughter of loved ones.

Jeanne's adventurous spirit was contagious. She relished the thrill of off-roading, the tranquility of fishing, and the simple pleasure of a good Hallmark movie. Her grandchildren, all ten of them, along with her two great-grandchildren, were the light of her life. She cherished every moment spent with them, sharing stories and creating new adventures that they would carry in their hearts forever.

Her faith was a cornerstone of her existence. A longtime parishioner at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Coweta, OK, Jeanne's commitment to her community and church was unwavering. She found solace and strength in her faith, which guided her through life's many challenges and joys.

Jeanne's legacy is carried on by her loving children, Chris Dalton of Tulsa, OK, Amber Rogers of Coweta, OK, and Robert Dalton and his wife Brittany of Broken Arrow, OK; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her dear sister, Marianne Hite of Broken Arrow, OK; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dick Lawrence Dalton, her parents, Dean Gold and Julia Louise Anthony, and her brothers, Tom Anthony and Jim Anthony.

A rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Coweta, OK. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Coweta, OK. Jeanne will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Tulsa, OK, with entombment scheduled for 11:45 AM.
