Johnny Bruce Waller, Jr., age 81, of Haskell, OK, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 25, 2025, at The Springs in Muskogee, OK. He was born on December 8, 1943, in Fort Worth, TX to John Bruce and Juanita Ruth (Gilliam) Waller. Johnny's life was a testament to his enduring spirit and love for his family.

After graduating from Seagraves High School in Seagraves, TX, Johnny embarked on a journey that would take him to Tulsa, OK, in 1964 where he opened B&B Meat Market. Johnny's entrepreneurial spirit shone as he owned and operated the business until 1994. Upon retiring from the meat market, he transitioned into a successful career in sales, showcasing his natural charisma and dedication to his work. On September 3, 1966, he married Judy Merriott and out of that union came two sons, John & Jeff.

Johnny's service to his country was a source of great pride. He served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969, demonstrating the same commitment and courage in uniform that he would carry throughout his life.

He was a man of many passions, including bird hunting, raising and training bird dogs, and cattle farming. Johnny also found solace in trout fishing and oil painting natural scenery, pastimes that brought him peace and joy. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family, especially attending his grandchildren's events.

Johnny is survived by his sons, John Waller and wife Trish of Broken Arrow, OK, and Jeff Waller and wife Angi of Haskell, OK; four grandchildren, Justin Waller, Jordan Waller, James Waller, and Addison Waller; and one great-grandchild, Banks. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law, Homer Chumley of Weatherford, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Bruce and Juanita Ruth Waller, his brother, Jerry Waller, and his sister, Janice Chumley.

His warmth, wisdom, and unwavering integrity will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to have crossed his path.
