With profound sadness and an overwhelming sense of loss, we announce the passing of Karen Roberta Yocham, affectionately known as Ging to her family, on Monday evening, November 3, 2025, at age of 74. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on February 5, 1951, grew up in the Garden City area of Tulsa, and graduated from Webster High School. Ging was a vibrant soul whose laughter and love were the cornerstones of her existence. She left this world after bravely facing dementia and other health challenges that took away much of what she cherished.

A formidable matriarch in her family, Ging was known for her tremendous love for her children and an adoration for her grandsons that defies words. She spoiled them in the grand tradition of loving mothers and grandmothers, firmly believing that no act of love is ever excessive. The bountiful memories of her warm embraces, delightful surprises, and raucous laughter will serve as treasured keepsakes for her family as they walk forward without her physical presence.

Ging was a spirited and loving woman, characterized by her big personality and her infinite capacity to embrace life's joys and sorrows with equal measure. She possessed a humor that was as infectious as it was unfiltered, bringing smiles and laughter to those fortunate enough to know her. This incredible woman built her life not on possessions or accolades but on the moments that filled hearts to the brim with joy and laughter.

Karen "Ging" Yocham will forever be celebrated as a beacon of love, laughter, and life. Her spirit, eternally loving and gloriously bright, will continue to guide us through our own journeys. We take solace in knowing she is at peace, beyond the struggles that marked her final years. As a beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and pillar of her community, Karens's legacy will forever resonate in the hearts she has left behind.
