Kelly Jean
Morales
Feb 7, 1968 — Sep 28, 2026
Tulsa
Kelly Jean Morales, age 58, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2026, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Kelly was born on February 7, 1968, in Norman, Oklahoma, to her mother, Barbara Hill. She was raised from the age of two by her mother and her stepfather, Don Staley, who was a father to her throughout her life.
Kelly was a beautiful, loving, and stubborn person. All who knew her would laugh and agree. She had a great big caring heart but could also be very hardheaded. She was accepting of everyone she met throughout her life and was considered a second mom to many others.
Kelly was a creative woman who loved to color, crochet, and collect many different things. Some of her favorite things were her dog, Tyna, Winnie the Pooh, sunflowers, and coffee cups. She collected so many coffee cups that at one point her collection had grown to nearly 200. Kelly also loved cats and dogs.
She had a bright smile, especially when playing or taking funny pictures with her grandkids. Kelly was grateful for the family and friends God gave her and kept them close in her heart. She was there for anyone at any time.
Kelly was a kind and gentle soul who helped anyone in need, even if it meant she went without. She was a daughter, a sister, a mother, an aunt, and a grandmother. To many people, she was many things, but to her family, she was home.
Growing up, Kelly’s mom sang a special song to her and her brother, and Kelly shared that tradition with her own children: “You Are My Sunshine.” Today, she shines brighter than ever in God’s glory and presence.
She was known by three names throughout her life: Kelly, Mama, and Nini, and today her family adds Angel to the list. She will always be remembered and never forgotten.
Rest in the presence of Jesus. This is not a goodbye; it’s just a see you later. One sweet day, we will reunite again and hear your beautiful voice.
We love you, Mom.
Kelly is survived by her five children, Michael, Maria, Jesus, Marco, and Gloria; her 18 grandchildren; and her first great-grandson, Elijah Ramon Morales. She is also survived by her father, Don Staley; three nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Kelly was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Hill, and her brother, Brian Staley. She will be laid to rest beside them in Ninnekah, Oklahoma.
No services are planned at this time.
