Kelsey Lin Byrd, a cherished daughter, loving mother, and beloved sister, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. She was born on June 25, 1996, in Tulsa, OK to Kenneth Eugene and Kelly Ann (Canalus) Byrd. Kelsey's vibrant spirit and infectious smile brought joy to all who knew her throughout her 28 years of life.

Kelsey attended Coweta schools and graduated from Coweta High School in 2015. Her academic journey was marked by her friendly nature and her ability to make lasting friendships. After graduation, Kelsey dedicated herself to serving her community through various roles. She began her career at Coweta Manor Nursing Home, where she worked in laundry, providing care and comfort to the residents. Her journey continued at 1843 Restaurant in Coweta as a server, where her warm presence was appreciated by both colleagues and customers. Most recently, Kelsey worked at K and B Machinery.

Kelsey's interests and hobbies were as diverse as her personality. She found joy in coloring, an activity that allowed her to express her creative side. Swimming and fishing were her ways of connecting with nature, and she cherished these moments of tranquility. Kelsey was also an avid shopper, always on the lookout for the next great find. Her love for animals was profound, and she shared her life with several cherished pets over the years.
