Lana Sue McHendry

Lana Sue McHendry, age 63, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Lana was born on April 26, 1962, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Volley Cephas Boling and Mildred Maxine (Slankard) Dallis. She was raised in Broken Arrow and attended Broken Arrow High School.

Lana worked in a variety of roles throughout her life, including as a server, in clerical work at the University of Tulsa, and in the front office at Hood’s Gas Station. She was known for her strong work ethic and her ability to connect with people wherever she worked.

She was an outgoing and spirited person who truly lived life to the fullest. Lana had a vibrant personality—she was funny, boisterous, and often the life of the party. She had a giving heart and a way of making those around her feel welcome and cared for. She enjoyed shopping, collecting pigs, and spending time with her family and friends. Lana was especially fond of yellow carnations, and she had a deep love for animals.

She shared a special bond with her family. She was raised by her stepfather, James Dallis, from a young age, and that relationship remained an important part of her life. Her brother Frank lovingly nicknamed her “Pig,” a name that stayed with her through the years and reflected the close and playful relationships she had with those she loved.

Lana is survived by her sisters, Helen Greene, and Joy MacDonald; her brother, Frank Boling; daughter-in-law Mandy Radcliffhey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Dallis, who passed on September 25, 2024; and her parents.

Lana will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her kind and giving spirit, and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her.
