Leroy Clinton Starks

Leroy Clinton “Clint” Starks, Jr., age 66, of Coweta, OK, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. He was born on July 8, 1959, in Tulsa, OK, to Leroy Starks and Geraldine Maxine (Chadwell) Starks.

Clint grew up in Coweta and attended Coweta schools. He worked for many years in the construction industry and was self-employed as a drywall contractor. He was known for his strong work ethic and independence.

In his free time, Clint enjoyed bowling, bingo, playing pool, visiting the casino, and spending time playing dominoes. These simple pleasures brought him joy and allowed him to connect with friends and family.

Clint is survived by his siblings, Sheri Ramos and husband Dennis of Verdi, NV, William Starks of Coweta, OK, and Rhonda Wewer of Bixby, OK; his children, Clinton Richard Starks of Bend, OR, Misty Calico and husband Mike of Broken Arrow, OK, Michael Foster and wife Darcy of Coweta, OK, and Fallisha Peters and husband Cody of Norman, OK; along with several grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Starks and Geraldine Maxine Starks, and his wife, Carol Gene Foster.

A private family graveside service will be held at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK.
