Margaret Louise Manns was born on August 31, 1953, in Coweta Oklahoma to proud parents Louise and Damon Manns. She attended Coweta Public School which is where she graduated from. 

Margaret later met her first husband James Keith Sampson and started her family. To this union there were 8 children born. Margaret was a member of Northside Christ Gospel Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she gave her life to Christ at a tender age.

Margaret was an entrepreneur and had three business that she ran. She owned a daycare that she successfully ran for 30+ yrs. She also had 2 rental properties that she owned along with The Rustic Penny Antique Shop. Margaret enjoyed going to church, yard sales, collecting antiques, shopping and most of all spending time with her family. Margaret most cherished role was being the matriarch of her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister, friend and a child of God. She found joy in watching her family grow, supporting them through the different stages of life and covering them through daily prayer. She was the foundation, steady, strong and deeply rooted in her faith.

Preceded her in death: Louise and Damon Manns (Parents), Carrie Manns (Sister), Morrine Manns (Sister), James Manns (Brother), Melissa Lynn Bekederemo (Daughter), Oscar Tyree Jerome Sampson (Son), Dellureece Ousley (Granddaughter), Tia Sampson (Granddaughter), and Aniya Sampson (Granddaughter).

She leaves behind to mourn in her passing her children James Manns (Ebony) Broken Arrow, Ok. Lakeicha Thomas (Mike) Tulsa, Ok. Martrice Mendenhall (Shawn) Coweta Ok. Timothy Sampson (Tasha) Broken Arrow, Ok. Patrick Sampson (Katie) Wagoner, Ok. Jeremiah Sampson (Chancy) Coweta, Ok. She leaves behind 31 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 13 brothers and sisters, a host of nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends to cherish her life and many accomplishments.

Though our hearts grieve, we rejoice in knowing that Margaret is now in the presence of her Savior-healed, whole, and rejoicing in eternity. Her legacy of faith, love, and sacrifice lives on through every life that SHE TOUCHED!

Viewing for Margaret will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 12:00 pm, at CrossPoint Baptist Church in Coweta, followed by a burial at Jackson Grove Cemetery in Coweta.
