Michael Warren Glunt, age 33, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, in Tulsa, OK. Michael was born on November 24, 1992, in Indianapolis, IN, to Michael Albert Glunt and Deborah Ann (Steinsiek) Tyler. Though his life was far too short, Michael’s presence left a lasting impression on those who knew and loved him.
Michael spent much of his life in Tulsa, OK, where he attended Rogers High School and graduated with the Class of 2010. Michael walked a unique and often challenging path in life, but through every season, one thing remained true—he had a heart for people. Those closest to him knew that Michael cared deeply about others and genuinely wanted to make a difference in the world. He had a sensitivity to the struggles of those around him and often felt things deeply, even when he struggled to express them in words.
Michael enjoyed family gatherings and the simple and joyous moments that came with them—playing Uno or Monopoly, playing chess, sharing music and good food, laughing over inside jokes, and just spending time with those he loved most. He had a warm spirit and a way with humor, and those who knew him best will remember his heart, his laugh, his gentleness, and the way he cared about the people around him. Though life was sometimes difficult for him, Michael’s love for family and his hope of making a difference remained central to who he was.
Family meant everything to Michael. He was a devoted son who shared a close bond with his mother, whom he loved deeply. He found comfort in her presence and relied on her love and support throughout his life. Michael was also a proud and loving uncle who cherished time with his three nephews. He delighted in being part of their lives and took pride in watching them grow. His aunts, uncles, and cousins in Indiana and in Oklahoma all had a special place in his heart. His three sisters were his best friends.
Michael is survived by his mother, Debbie Tyler of Tulsa, OK; his sisters, Megan Glunt of Texas, Karmen Glunt of Tulsa, OK, and Abigail Tyler of Tulsa, OK; his nephews, Oliver Morian, Elliot Sellers, and Lux Sewell; his aunts, Kathy Scott and Angie Gasaway; his uncles, Jim Steinsiek, Vincent Glunt, Victor Glunt, and Kevin Scott; and his cousins, Maggie Cole, Kaitlyn Guffey, Danielle Glunt, Sarah Foreman, and Chelsea Gasaway Triplett, along with many extended family members and friends who were touched by his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Albert Glunt; his maternal grandparents, Patti Atchley and Ken Katcher; and his paternal grandparents, Albert Glunt and Winnie Bowles.
A memorial service honoring Michael’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Coweta, OK.
