Nadia was born on August 6, 1965, in the village of Petrivka, Chernigivska Oblast, Ukraine. She was the fourth child out of eleven children born to Andrey and Ana Kolosha.

Nadia married Ivan Chepurny at the age of 22, and on August 1, 1988, she gave birth to a daughter, Tanya.

She was a Christian woman. She helped many missionary people who came to Konotop City, where she lived.

On December 8, 1998, she moved to the United States. During her first year in the U.S., she lived in Washington State, and in 1999, she moved to Michigan. Then, in June 2006, she moved to Oklahoma. She worked for Owasso Public Schools and lived in Owasso, Oklahoma, for almost 20 years.

On August 22, 2026, she peacefully went home to be with the Lord.

She is survived by her daughter, Tanya; eight sisters, Valentina, Nataliya, Tanya, Vera, Oksana, Ana, Olga, and Emma; two brothers, Andrey and Peter; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She loved to help people and was loved by many.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Nadia will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.
