Nicholas Lee Volz, Sr., age 80, resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 2, 2025. He was born on July 25, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Leander A. and Anastasia Louise (Donahue) Volz.
After honorably serving his country in the United States Air Force, Nicholas built a successful career as a skilled trim carpenter and home builder. His hands shaped not only the wood and materials he worked with but also the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His craftsmanship was a testament to his attention to detail and his commitment to excellence.
Nicholas's life was enriched by his beloved wife, Barbara (Freeman) Volz, whom he married with joy and devotion. Their partnership was a beautiful example of love and mutual respect.
Nicholas's legacy is one of honor, love, and the quiet strength that characterized his life. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have been touched by his presence.
