Pansy "Faye" Decker, age 85, was born on March 26, 1941, in Double Springs, Alabama, to William Earlie Cooper Sr. and Ruby Lee Elizabeth Lela Cooper (Goss). She peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, hard work, and service to others.

As a teenager, Faye moved with her family to Zion, Illinois. It was there, while attending church, that she met the love of her life, Billy Joe Decker. They were united in marriage on December 24, 1959, beginning a loving partnership that would endure throughout their lives. Together they were blessed with three children: Elizabeth Ann, Danny Joe, and Robert Joe.

After starting their family in Illinois, Faye and Billy made Oklahoma their home, where they spent the remainder of their lives raising their family and building lasting friendships.

Faye was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. She began her career at Bama Pie before joining Armin Polyversion in 1975, where she worked in machine assembly until 1998. She then continued her career at Hilti, working in machine assembly before earning a promotion to the office. She retired from Hilti in 2004.

Even after retirement, Faye's servant's heart never slowed. She spent many years providing compassionate home health care for friends and family, always willing to lend a helping hand and care for those in need.

More than anything, Faye treasured her family and her faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She found joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will be cherished for generations. In recent years, she especially enjoyed gathering with her friends for Bible study and lively games of canasta, where her warm smile, quick wit, and loving spirit brought happiness to everyone around her.

Faye is survived by her children, Elizabeth Reddout and husband Mark of Haskell, Oklahoma; Danny Decker and wife Debbie of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and Robert Decker and wife Vicki of Nevada, Texas. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Helen Cooper of Alabama; 11 beloved grandchildren; an abundant blessing of great-grandchildren; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Joe Decker; her parents, William Earlie Cooper Sr. and Ruby Lee Elizabeth Lela Cooper (Goss); her sister, Nellie Virginia Stone; and her brothers, Herbert Sylvester Cooper, William Earlie Cooper Jr., and Harold Stancil Cooper.

Faye's life was a testament to faith, perseverance, kindness, and unconditional love. She will be remembered for her generous heart, unwavering devotion to her family, and the compassion she showed to everyone whose lives she touched. Her legacy lives on in the family she loved so dearly and in the countless lives she blessed through her friendship, care, and steadfast faith. Although she will be deeply missed, we have peace knowing that she is rejoicing with Jesus in heaven for eternity.

Services celebrating Faye’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma. Faye will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.
