Rosa Lee McCord, age 84, resident of Coweta, OK, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, December 20, 2025, at her home in Coweta, OK; only 19 days after her late husband of 66 years Jerry LeWayne McCord. She was born on March 11, 1941, in Oklahoma City to mother Leecie Mae Enox. Rosa Lee's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and the simple joys that make a life well-lived.

Rosa Lee attended Southeast High School in Oklahoma City, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with learning and growth. She embraced the role of a devoted homemaker, a vocation that allowed her to pour her heart into the care and nurturing of her family. Rosa Lee's home was always filled with the aroma of freshly baked bread, cowboy cookies, and her signature fried pies, which brought comfort and joy to all who were lucky enough to taste them.

Her creative spirit shone brightly through her hobbies. Rosa Lee found solace and joy in crocheting and diamond arts, crafting beautiful pieces that reflected her attention to detail and her love for creating beauty in the world.

She is survived by her children, Lonetta Murray and her husband Dennis of Coweta, OK, Sherry Phillips and her husband Thomas of Houston, TX, and Roy McCord of Sand Springs, OK. Her legacy continues through her brother, Jack Kelley of Tuttle, OK; her sister, Vickie Kvasnicka of Oregon; her grandchildren, Cassidy Gayle Carr and William Lee McCord; her six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by husband Jerry LeWayne McCord, her mother, Leecie Mae (Brimer) Enox, her son, Jesse Wayne McCord, her granddaughter, Jessica Ann McCord, and her siblings, Geneva Jo Terrell, Brenda Kay Lawson, and Doyle Enox.

Rosa Lee’s life was a beautiful patchwork of love, dedication, and the joy of everyday moments. Her spirit, characterized by generosity and a nurturing presence, will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
