Rose “Jeannette” Mobley, age 87, of Coweta, Oklahoma, passed peacefully to her heavenly home on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on July 3, 1938, in Wynne, Arkansas, to Earnest and Goldie (Henderson) Vaught, and was raised in a loving home that shaped her strong values, faith, and devotion to family.

Jeannette grew up in Wynne, Arkansas and graduated from Wynne High School. On December 20, 1957, she married the love of her life, Lowell Stanton “Stan” Mobley, in Memphis, Tennessee. Their marriage was one of enduring love, partnership, and faith, and together they built a home rooted in care, commitment, and quiet strength. Through the years, Jeannette’s life reflected her deep devotion to her husband and family, and she took great pride in nurturing those she loved.

A devoted wife and mother, Jeannette dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. She found joy in creating a warm, welcoming place for those around her and was known for her thoughtful nature and steady presence. Her faith was central to who she was, and she was an active member of First Baptist Church in Coweta, where she loved her church family and faithfully served the Lord through kindness, encouragement, and a gentle spirit.

Jeannette enjoyed sewing, needlework, traveling, and shopping, hobbies that reflected her creativity and her love for staying connected with others. She had a servant’s heart and found happiness in doing for those around her, often putting others before herself. Her life was one marked by humility, compassion, and grace, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will be carried on by her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Knevitt of Coweta, Oklahoma; and her nieces and nephews, Jacqueline Vaught of Payette, Idaho; Beth (Vaught) Jenkins of Roanoke, Virginia; Vickie (Vaught) Burlison of Winter Springs, Florida; Steven Vaught of Riverside, California; and Patricia (Vaught) Bishop of Counce, Tennessee, along with extended family and many dear friends who will cherish her memory.
