Shannon Lynn Wiley

December 30, 1979 — June 30, 2025

Wagoner

In loving memory of Shannon Lynn Wiley, age 45, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on Monday, June 30, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born in Wagoner on December 30, 1979, to parents Darrell Russell and Jessie Norton. Shannon's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and the simple joys that make life beautiful.

Shannon's journey through life was rooted in the charm of the countryside she adored. She was raised in Porter, Oklahoma by her grandparents Earl and Hazel Wiley, and attended Porter schools alongside her siblings Hank, Sally, Elizabeth, and Rachel. She found her true calling as a stay-at-home mother. Shannon's heart was her family. She was a devoted mother to her six sons. Her days were filled with the laughter and energy of her boys, whom she raised with immense pride and unwavering dedication.

Shannon leaves behind her sons, Justin Allan Gamble of Tulsa, Seth Mykel Holmes of Haskell, Gage Mekhi Holmes of Tulsa, Caiden Lekhi Fields of Haskell, Judge Gatlin Holmes of Okay, and Mopar Kash Smith of Wagoner, and Kobe Stafford. Her love and legacy will continue to shine through her grandchildren, Adrian, Izzabella, Kiara, Aliah, CJ, Khloe, Dustin, Jacey, Remie, Greyson, and Devin, who brought immense joy and happiness to her life. In addition to her siblings, Darrell "Hank" Wiley, Sally Peterson, and Elizabeth Baucom, mother Jessie Norton and husband Myrl, father Michael Baucom, her nephews, her nieces, many other loved ones and friends.

Shannon is preceded in death by her sister Rachel Martin, biological father Darrell Russell and her grandparents Earl & Hazel Wiley and George & Kathy Gray, who laid a foundation of warmth and kindness that Shannon carried throughout her life.

Shannon was a woman who found joy and solace in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for being outdoors, reveling in the tranquility of country living. Her happiest moments were often found sitting on the front porch watching the rain or admiring her boys as they played outside. She would eagerly anticipate the lively chatter and laughter of her family gathered around for one of their cookouts. She was known for a sharp tongue, quick wit, and laughter that brought chaos and joy.

Her love for Indian paintbrush flowers was reflective of her nature - bright, resilient, and beautifully wild. Just like the blooms she adored, Shannon’s legacy will continue to color the lives of those she touched. Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts, Shannon Lynn Wiley leaves behind a legacy of love, the warmth of a family knit closely together by her caring hands, and a world better for her presence. She will be profoundly missed, yet forever celebrated.
