She was born on July 6, 1944, in Shawnee, OK to John Calendar and Lily Irene Tucker. Sharon's life was a tapestry of devotion to her family, a commitment to her work, and a passion for her hobbies that touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Sharon was a proud graduate of Tecumseh High School in 1962. Her professional path was marked by her unwavering work ethic and her natural ability to connect with people. Sharon's career began as a bank teller, where her meticulous attention to detail and warm smile became her hallmark. She later brought her talents to County Wide News in Tecumseh, and eventually to Tecumseh Public Schools, where she served in the Child Nutrition Program as an Assistant Account Clerk. Her colleagues remember her as a pillar of reliability and kindness.
Sharon's heart was truly at home, where she built a life with her beloved husband, Jim Myers. They married on August 22, 1963, and together they created a legacy of love that would extend through generations.
