Sidney R. Carpenter, 92, entered eternal life March 30, 2015. He was born on October 20, 1922 in Loy, AR to John David and Sarah Mattie Carpenter. Sidney was a man of the Lord that loved to read his Bible, hunt, fish, and spend time with family and friends. Sidney is preceded in death by his wife; Helen Carpenter; brothers: Scott and Lee Carpenter; sister:
Edith Harper; mother: Sarah Mattie Carpenter; and father: John David Carpenter. Sidney is survived by his son: Mark (& Ann) Carpenter; daughter: Phyllis (& Jack) Preston; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister: Gladys Geren of Broken Arrow, OK and a plethora of friends and family.
