Stanley Michael Robisch, known affectionately as Mike to his friends and family, passed away at his home in Broken Arrow, OK, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. He was born on November 22, 1964, at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK to Stanley Franklin and Phyllis Ann (Dick) Robisch. Mike's zest for life and his warm, generous spirit touched everyone he met throughout his 60 years.
Mike was a proud graduate of East Central High School's class of 1983. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own business, Painting Unlimited, where he showcased his skill and dedication as a painter for many years. His work not only brightened the homes and businesses of his clients but also the lives of those who worked alongside him.
A man of many passions, Mike's love for the ocean was profound. He found solace and adventure in scuba diving, exploring the depths and marveling at the wonders beneath the waves. His culinary skills were no secret to those who knew him, as he enjoyed cooking, smoking, and barbecuing, often sharing his delicious creations with friends and family. Mike loved going to Texas Roadhouse on Friday nights with his friends and he loved Sunday dinners with his family.
Mike's enthusiasm for the University of Oklahoma's football team was unmatched. His green thumb was evident in the beautiful garden he cultivated, a testament to his patience and nurturing nature.
On December 19, 1987, Mike married the love of his life, Geneva Nell Smith, at St. Pius Catholic Church in Tulsa, OK. Their union was blessed with love, laughter, and the joy of raising a family together. Mike is survived by his devoted wife, Geneva Robisch, of the home in Broken Arrow, OK; his loving mother, Phyllis Robisch of Broken Arrow, OK; his cherished children, Linsey Whimple and husband Aaron of Broken Arrow, OK, Lacey Fisher and husband Philip of Denver, CO, Zachary Robisch of Tulsa, OK, and Neveah Peters of Broken Arrow, OK. His legacy continues through his adored grandchildren, Bryar, Oliver, Sawyer, and Marley Whimple, who will miss their grandfather's playful spirit and boundless love. Mike's memory will also be treasured by his sisters, Debbie Smith and husband Kenny of Tulsa, OK, and Mindy Wasson and husband Jimmy of Broken Arrow, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends who were like family to him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Franklin Robisch, and his twin sisters, Vickie Lynn Robisch and Merrie Kay Robisch.
Visitation for Mike will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Brown Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, OK, with the family present to receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. A funeral mass celebrating Mike's life will take place at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Broken Arrow, OK
