Thomas Wade Sisco, Sr., affectionately known as Tommy to his friends and family, age 82, resident of Hulbert, OK, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, June 11, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. He was born on January 31, 1943, in Coweta, OK to Oscar Worley and Rachel Marie (Coe) Sisco. Tommy's life was a testament to the love and joy he brought to everyone around him.
Tommy attended school in Lincoln, AR, and later became a respected businessman as the owner of Sisco's Tree Service. His hard work and dedication to his craft were evident in the beautiful landscapes he helped maintain throughout his community.
Beyond his professional achievements, Tommy was a man of many passions. He loved spending time with his family above all else. An avid outdoorsman, he found peace in fishing and hunting, and took great pleasure in driving his BIG black Ford. His faith was central to his life; he loved Jesus with all his heart. Tommy also served his community as a volunteer fireman at Taylor Ferry Fire Department, where he was known for his bravery and selflessness.
Tommy married the love of his life, Minnie Belle Kilgore, on October 16, 1961, in Wagoner, OK. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories that will be held dear by all who knew them.
Tommy was the beloved patriarch of a large and loving family. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Belle Sisco of Hulbert, OK; his sons, Wade Sisco and his wife Robin of Hulbert, OK, and Ray Sisco and his wife Suzy of Coweta, OK; his daughters, Lisa Golden and her husband Sonny of Wagoner, OK, and Leslie Bookout of Hulbert, OK. His legacy continues through his 13 grandchildren, Brandon Sisco (Kassie), Chasity Bigger (David), Andrea Dean (Nick), JW Sisco (Witni), Toni Birchfield, Montana Smith (Jacqueline), SarahDon Harrington (JW), Colton Sisco (Megan), Fancy Smith, Hayley Sisco (Kim), Doug Russell (Trent), PJ Sisco (Anthony), and Hadlee Potarf (Tommy), as well as his 26 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his spirit of kindness and generosity. Tommy also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will miss his guidance and warmth.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Oscar Worley and Rachel Marie Sisco; his son, Parker Sisco; and his siblings, Barbara Serrano, Ellen Kilgore, David Sisco, and Edith Oosahwe.
Services celebrating Tommy's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 16, 2025, at CrossPoint Baptist Church in Coweta, OK, with Rev. Lynn Moss officiating. He will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK.
Tommy's life was a beautiful journey of love, commitment, and service. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
