Tyler Curtis Sage, age 33, resident of Haskell, OK, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. He was born on December 16, 1991, in Seminole, TX to Gregory Allan and Tammy Charice (Martin) Sage. Tyler's journey through life was marked by his unwavering spirit and the deep love he shared with those around him.
Tyler attending school in Moriarty, NM and graduated from Moriarty High School in 2010. His formative years in Moriarty were not only about education but also about building the strong character and resilience that would define him. After high school, Tyler answered the call of duty and served his country with honor as a member of the United States Army. His service to the nation was a testament to his courage and commitment to the values he held dear.
Tyler's heart was truly at home, where he embraced the role of a loving father. His passion for training horses was more than a hobby. His love for his family was boundless, and he found his greatest joy in the time spent with his beloved wife, Elizabeth, whom he married on June 1, 2024. Their union, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and dreams for the future.
Tyler's legacy is carried on by his devoted wife, Elizabeth Sage of Haskell, OK; his sons, Liam Sage and Sterling Sage; his mother and stepfather, Tammy and Chris Blakely of Haskell, OK; his father, Gregory Sage of Alamogordo, NM; his sisters, Kayla Hall and husband Ray of Alamogordo, NM, Christy Underwood of Coffeyville, TX, and Chelsea Blakely of Graham, TX; his brother, Brandon Blakely and wife Nicole of Belen, NM; his grandmother, Peggy Martin of Edgewood, NM; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Misty and Scott Terry of Broken Arrow, OK; his sister-in-law, Katrina Grosse; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives who will miss him dearly.
Preceding him in death were his grandfather, Maurice Martin, and his grandmother, Alma Sage.
Tyler’s story is one of love, service, and family. His presence will be deeply missed, but the warmth of his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
