Wendy Lynn Larsen

Wendy Lynn Larsen, age 54, of Wagoner, Oklahoma, passed away at her home on Monday, July 20, 2026.

Wendy was born on December 7, 1971, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Leroy Wayne Allen and Myrtle June (Mayo) Allen. She was a proud graduate of Coweta High School and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Law from Tulsa University. She pursued a career as a lawyer, dedicating herself to the study and practice of law, and was a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association.

On December 29, 2005, Wendy married the love of her life, Barry Lyn Larsen. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared interests.

Wendy found joy in the simple things in life. She loved collecting stamps, tending to her garden, quilting, and making crafts. She had a special affection for cats and delighted in watching the beauty of nature, especially redbirds, hummingbirds, and barn swallows. Her gentle spirit, creativity, and appreciation for the outdoors brought happiness to those around her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Barry Larsen of Wagoner, Oklahoma; her mother, Myrtle June Allen of Wagoner, Oklahoma; her brother, Don Allen and wife Dottie of Porter, Oklahoma; three nieces; one nephew; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and many other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

Wendy was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Wayne Allen.

Wendy will be remembered for her kind heart, quiet strength, creative spirit, and love for her family, animals, and nature. The memories she created and the love she shared will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service celebrating Wendy's life will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma, with Pastor Charles Smith officiating.
