William James "Bill" Crowley

William James “Bill” Crowley, age 79, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday evening, April 16, 2026, at Oxford Springs in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Bill was born on September 6, 1946, in Oakland, California, to William Joseph Crowley and Charlotte Adella Marie (Morgan) Crowley. He was a graduate of Montgomery High School in Santa Rosa, California, Class of 1964, and later earned his associate degree.

Bill proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era, including his time aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. His service was a meaningful part of his life and something he carried with quiet pride.

Bill was united in marriage to Gloria Jean Crowley on October 28, 1989, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Together they shared many years of marriage and life’s experiences.

Bill was a man of faith and was a graduate of Rhema Bible College. He found strength in his beliefs and carried them with him throughout his life.

He is survived by his siblings, Pat Crowley and wife Sharon of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Jim Crowley of Tyrone, New Mexico, and Sharon Bullinger of Clarksburg, Maryland; his sisters-in-law, Joyce Potter of Little Elm, Texas, Beverly Steeley and husband RC of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Paula Fitzgerald and husband Royce of Collinsville, Oklahoma; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William Joseph and Charlotte Crowley; and his beloved wife, Gloria Jean Crowley.
