William Henry "Bill" Pearce, age 84, of Coweta, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, July 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Bill was born on January 16, 1942, in Bokchito, Oklahoma, to Henry Buck Pearce and Mary Elmer (Roebuck) Pearce. He graduated from Augusta High School in Augusta, Kansas, and later earned an Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology.
For more than 42 years, Bill enjoyed a distinguished career as a Union Electrician. He was known for his exceptional work ethic, integrity, and dedication to his craft. Following his retirement, he continued to live a life devoted to serving others and giving back to his community.
On February 2, 1978, Bill married the love of his life, Mary Louise Endicott, in Augusta, Kansas. Together they shared many wonderful years of marriage and built a family that was the center of Bill's life.
Bill was a man of deep faith and service. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene for many years. He generously volunteered with programs that helped prevent blindness in preschool through sixth-grade children, believing in making a difference in the lives of others.
His commitment to service extended through numerous Masonic and fraternal organizations. Bill was a member of Coweta Masonic Lodge No. 251, a 33° Scottish Rite Mason in the Tulsa Valley Scottish Rite, a York Rite Mason, a member of the Akdar Shrine, and the Knights of Pythias. He also served as an officer in the Red Cross of Constantine, was active with the Grand Lodge of Oklahoma, the Order of the Eastern Star, the Oklahoma York Rite College, the Knight Masons of Oklahoma, and the Saba Grotto. Throughout his life, Bill was respected for his leadership, his dedication to these organizations, and his willingness to mentor and serve others.
Above all else, Bill loved his family. He treasured every moment spent with them and found his greatest joy in watching his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren grow. His legacy of love, kindness, hard work, faith, and service will continue to live on through each of them.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Mary Pearce, of the home in Coweta, Oklahoma; his children, Kimberly Starr and husband Tim Falling of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Timothy Freeman of Coweta, Oklahoma, Vicki Boulware of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Cindy Jo Delaughder of Coweta, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Buck Pearce and Mary Elmer Pearce; his son, William Pearce; his infant daughter; three sisters; and one brother.
Bill will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, skilled electrician, faithful servant, respected Mason, and a man who quietly lived his life with honor, humility, and compassion. His influence reached far beyond his family through his service to his church, his community, and the many organizations he faithfully supported.
