Alberta Nadine Rich

Alberta Nadine Rich, age 69, resident of Wagoner, Oklahoma departed this life on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Wagoner Community Hospital in Wagoner, Oklahoma.  Alberta was born on September 29, 1951 in San Jose, California to J.C. and Charlene Francis (Brown) Stites.  Alberta attended school at William C. Overfelt High School in San Jose, California and was a homemaker.  She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Alberta enjoyed going to yard sales and plants.   

Alberta is survived by her husband, Daniel Rich of their home in Wagoner, Oklahoma; her mother, Charlene Brown of Muskogee, Oklahoma; her two children, Jody Gill and her husband Justin of Gleason, Tennessee and Daniel Rich Jr. and his wife Jamie of Porter, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, Damian Roberts, Tyler Roberts, Hayley Smith and her wife Morgan, Parker “PJ” Sisco and fiancé Anthony, Wyatt Phipps, Whalen Phipps, Bryar Rich, Tori Honeycutt, Kristin Phillips and her husband James, and Dalis Gill; two great grandchildren, Jaycee Sisco and Braley Quimby; her siblings, Sharon Stites Pierce of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Sandy Stites Brown of Heavener, Oklahoma, Robbie Stites of Haskell, Oklahoma, and Brenda Renee Stites of Osage, Oklahoma; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Alberta was preceded in death by her father, J.C. Stites; her grandson, David Tyler Cole; and two brothers, Jake Stites and Curtis Stites.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Services celebrating Alberta’s life will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at CrossPoint Baptist Church in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Brett Wheeler officiating.
