Anderson Wesley, age 68, resident of Tulsa was born on December 29, 1951 in Okemah, Oklahoma and was the son of Thomas Wesley, Jr. and Lizzie (Yahola) Wesley. He passed away on Sunday evening, August 30, 2020 at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Anderson graduated from Chilocco Indian School and he also attended Northeastern State University. He worked as an assembly line worker for Zapata Bottling Company in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Anderson enjoyed going to the casinos.
Anderson is survived by his daughter, Keeley Taylor and husband Bryce of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his three sisters, Esther Huitt of Okay, Oklahoma, Tochee Robbins of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Sue Gable of Coweta, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Kason and Ariella Taylor of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Anderson was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Wesley, Jr. and Lizzie Wesley.
Viewing will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma. Services celebrating Anderson’s life will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Nuyaka Indian Baptist Church in Okemah, Oklahoma. Anderson will be laid to rest at Nuyaka Indian Baptist Church Cemetery.
