Annalene Stacy

Annalene Stacy, age 87, lifelong resident of Coweta entered into Heaven’s Gates on Thursday afternoon, October 27, 2022 at her home in Coweta, Oklahoma surrounded by her family. Annalene was born on February 16, 1935 in Coweta, Oklahoma to Wayne and Macy Ellen (Snelson) Watkins. She attended Coweta Public Schools. Annalene married the love of her life, Leo M. Stacy on March 7, 1951 at the Church of God of Prophecy in Coweta, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and sold Stanley Products for many years. Annalene was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Coweta. She enjoyed quilting and loved spending time with her family.

Annalene is survived by two sons, Jimmy Stacy and wife Sheila of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Bobby Stacy of Coweta, Oklahoma; two daughters, Janie Fox and husband Mike of North Port, Florida and Lawanna Bentley of Coweta, Oklahoma; three brothers, Maynard Watkins of Coweta Oklahoma, Donald Watkins and wife Betty of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Derl Watkins and wife Betty of Leavenworth, Washington; one sister, Rickie Ross of Havanna, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Annalene was preceded in death by her husband, Leo M. Stacy, her parents, Wayne and Macy Ellen Watkins, her brother, Jessie Watkins, and her granddaughter, Jennifer Kennedy.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma. Services celebrating Annalene’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Charles Smith officiating. Annalene will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.
