Barbara Anne Huckleberry

Barbara Anne Huckleberry, age 59, resident of Coweta, Oklahoma departed this life on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at her home in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Barbara was born on July 16, 1962 in Schenectady, New York and was the daughter of Peter Genore Abbey and Sally Ann (Shirk) Kelley.  She worked in home health as a caregiver.  Barbara enjoyed going to the lake and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Jeni Helmer and her husband, Brad; her three grandchildren, Blake Anne Helmer, Lane Helmer, and Maci Helmer; her siblings, Leslie Abbey, Peter Abbey, Kathy Tankersley, Diane Smith, Betsy Lawson, Michael Abbey, and Chris Kelley; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Peter Genore Abbey and her mother and step-father, Sally Ann and Richard Caldwell Kelley.

A memorial service celebrating Barbara’s life will be at 1:30 PM on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Pastor Corbin Francis officiating.
