Birdie "Annette" Willis

Birdie “Annette” Willis, age 61, resident of Hulbert, Oklahoma departed this life on Thursday morning, April 22, 2021 at her home in Hulbert, Oklahoma.  Annette was born on September 2, 1959 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Glenn Howard and Birdie (Fidler) Howard Washington.  She was a homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed taking care of her family.  Annette enjoyed drinking Dr. Pepper, baking when the kids were younger, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Annette is survived by three children, Eric Willis, Clara Willis Grant, Rowdy Willis and wife Brittney; twelve grandchildren, Keisha Grant, Chris Grant, Elbert Grant, Rowdy Grant, Angel Grant, Austin Willis, Natalie Willis, Dominic Grant, Rebecca Grant, Avery Willis, Brianna Willis, and Elijah Grant; seven sisters, Joyce Howard, Geneva Patton, Christeen Boston and husband Richard, Fern Steven, Johnnie Howard, Charlene Lee and husband Virgle, and Barbara Ingram and husband Brad; three brothers, Bill Howard, Kenneth Howard and wife Velda, and Tommy Howard and wife Barbara; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Birdie was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Howard, and Birdie Howard Washington; one sister, Glenl Henery; and two brothers, Verlin Howard and Dale Howard.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta.  Services celebrating Annette’s life will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Tyrel Hatfield officiating.  Annette will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers are Rowdy Willis, Eric Willis, William Morgan, Brian Friedenthal, Chris Grant, Elbert Grant, Rowdy Grant, and Elijah Grant.  Honorary Pallbearers are Austin Willis and Dominic Grant.
