Carol Gene Foster

Carol Gene Foster, age 62, resident of Coweta went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday evening, July 22, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK.  Carol was born on November 23, 1958 in Wagoner, OK and was the daughter of David Lloyd and Martha Pearlie (Guss) Bowers. Carol was a 1977 Coweta High School graduate. She retired after working 15 years for Coweta Public Schools at Northwest Elementary. She loved working with the children and faculty at Northwest Elementary.  Carol was a member of the First Baptist Church of Coweta.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening, dancing, and singing.  Family meant everything to her. She loved her family and grandchildren and her legacy will live on through them all.  Carol will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Carol is survived by her soulmate of 24 years, Clint Starks; her mother, Martha Pearlie Bowers; her children, Misty Calico and husband Mike, Michael Foster and wife Darcy, Fallishia Peters and husband Cody; nine grandchildren, Jaycie Peters, Owen Peters, Rilee Boyles and spouse Brent, Dakota Brewster, Dolan Calico, Dakoda Ezell and spouse Julia, Landen Foster, Katrina Hilderbrand and spouse Tobie, and Braden Calico; four great-grandchildren, Maci Boyles, Jonah Hilderbrand, Rhett Boyles, Audrei Hail, and one on the way, Tate Boyles; her four brothers, Leon Bowers, Tommy Bowers, Doug Bowers, and Joe Bowers and wife Jeanie; her sister, Patricia Flores; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her father, David Lloyd Bowers; her grandparents, John and Gladys Bowers, Fred and Hazel Farrar, and Earl and Billie Guss; and her great granddaughter, Ellie Boyles.

Viewing will be from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home with the family present to receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.  Services celebrating Carol’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK.  

 Pallbearers are Dakoda Ezell, Dakota Brewster, Dolan Calico, Braden Calico, Owen Peters, and Landen Foster.
