Carolyn Delores Fultz

Carolyn Delores Fultz, age 85, resident of Coweta, Oklahoma passed from this world on Wednesday morning, May 24, 2023 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was born on July 17, 1937, in Kansas City, Missouri and was the daughter of Clifford Ring and Ann (Shulte) Ring.

Carolyn spent her early years in Kansas City before moving to Sheldon, Missouri, where she met her future husband. Carolyn and E.E. "Bert" Fultz were married on July 17, 1967, and shared a beautiful life together for 30 years until Bert's passing. As a devoted homemaker, Carolyn created a loving and nurturing environment for her family, ensuring they were always well taken care of.

For the past 16 years, Carolyn was a beloved resident of Carriage Crossing Retirement Center in Coweta. She was grateful for the many friendships she formed during her time there and cherished the memories she made with her neighbors. Carolyn's quick smile and warm sense of humor brightened the days of those around her, and she was always eager to join in a friendly game of Bingo with her friends and neighbors.

Throughout her life, Carolyn was known for her positivity and gratitude. She counted her blessings daily and considered herself fortunate to have a good home and good friends. Her interests were centered around her family, friends, and community, and she took great joy in spending time with those she loved.

Carolyn is survived by her sons, Samuel Hayes and Mark Fultz and wife Jill; her brothers, Ronald Ring and Clifford Ring Jr.; her grandchildren, Samantha Hayes and Corey Seeley; her lifelong friend of 70 years, Marilyn Shawhan; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert, and her parents, Clifford and Ann Ring.

Visitation for Carolyn will be held from 8:00-10:00 AM on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.

Carolyn leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and friendship. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
