Cheryl Lynn Mayberry

Cheryl Lynn Mayberry, age 55, resident of Coweta departed this life on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Cheryl was born on October 17, 1965 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Richard D. and Mary Ann (Parker) Mayberry.  Cheryl was a 1984 graduate of Coweta High School.  She enjoyed going fishing and loved horses. She will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her.

Cheryl is survived by her father, Richard Mayberry of Coweta, Oklahoma; two daughters, Tabitha Burris of Henryetta, Oklahoma and Ashley Hammit of Oklahoma; two sons, Bobby Hammit of Henryetta, Oklahoma and Richard Hammit of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two sisters, Deborah Keel of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Theresa Eubanks of Haskell, Oklahoma; her companion, Timmy Baucom of Coweta, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Mayberry; one son, Matthew Burris; and one brother, Dale Mayberry.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home.  Services celebrating Cheryl’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 19, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Bryan Hill officiating.  Cheryl will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.  Pallbearers are Bobby Hammit, Richard Hammit, Tyler Keel, Ryan Keel, William Eubanks, and Randy Keel.
