Connie Sue Rowland

Connie Sue Rowland, age 65, resident of Coweta, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Connie was born on June 2, 1956 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Robert Earl and Betty Jo (Beller) Rowland.  Connie was a 1974 graduate of Coweta High School.  She loved her family and her animals.  Connie enjoyed horseback riding, watching television, and writing and drawing on her scratch pad.  She was loved by all who met and knew her, and she will be greatly missed.   

Connie is survived by her mother, Betty Rowland of the home in Coweta, Oklahoma; her paternal aunts, Judy Carol McCollough and her husband Tommy, and Joyce Rowland; her maternal aunts and uncles, Johnny Beller and his wife Wilma, Bobbie Denton and her husband Lewis, Shirley Gilbert, and Wayne Steeley and his wife Sharon; her cousins, Gregory Rowland, Kerri Hudson, Larry Keith Beller, Patti Coggins, Pamela Brummett, Steven Denton, Mischele Denton, and Scott Gilbert; and numerous second cousins, other relatives, and friends. 

Connie was preceded in death by her father, Robert Rowland; her paternal grandparents, Raymond Earl and Maudie Vivian Rowland; her maternal grandmother, Geneva Pearl Steeley; two  grandpas, Walter Steeley and Johnny D. Beller; her uncle, Howard Rowland; and her cousin, Vicki Lynn Denton.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma. Graveside services celebrating Connie’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.
