David Evan "Dave" Weisberg

David Evan “Dave” Weisberg, age 57, resident of Coweta, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday morning, September 23, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Dave was born on June 13, 1964 in Yonkers, New York to Joe and Joan (Schafer) Weisberg.  He was a 1982 graduate of East Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He then attended the University of Oklahoma and Tulsa Community College, where he graduated with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice in 2003.  Dave worked for the City of Broken Arrow Police and Fire Departments as an Emergency Service Dispatcher for 22 years.  He married the love of his life, Robin (Meadows) Weisberg on May 18, 2013.  Dave loved OU football and enjoyed tailgating.  He also loved cooking for family get togethers, coaching his daughter’s softball, and Formula 1 racing.  He enjoyed volunteering with the Community Special Athletes, where he was a weightlifting coach and a bowling partner.  Dave will be missed by everyone that knew and loved him.

Dave is survived by his wife. Robin Weisberg of their home in Coweta, Oklahoma; his mother, Joan Weisberg; his two daughters, Tiffany Jackson and husband Carl and Stephanie Culp and husband Devin; his two sons, Mike Morrow and wife Amy and Jason Morrow; eleven grandchildren, Faith, Gavin, Hayli, Malani, Myka, Hannah, Hailee, Paizlei, Gabby, Grayson, and Sylvia; his brother-in-law, Kirby Meadows and wife Robin; his faithful dog, Cee Cee; and numerous aunts, uncle, cousins, other relatives, and friends. 

Dave was preceded in death by his father, Joe Weisberg.

A memorial service celebrating Dave’s life will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at BattleCreek Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with Scott Keele officiating.  The family encourages everyone to wear OU attire or OU colors to the service.
