Delbert Carl LaRue

Delbert Carl LaRue, age 78, resident of Coweta departed this life on Monday, February 1, 2021 at the Wagoner Community Hospital in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Delbert was born February 21, 1942 and was the son of Gilbert Henry and Amelia Beulah (Steph) LaRue.  He was a cross country truck driver.  Delbert enjoyed his John Deer tractor, taking care of the Tullahassee Loop Campground and grilling. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  On February 25, 1992 he married the love of his life Patricia Jean Carpenter in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Delbert is survived by wife, Patti LaRue; four children, Becky (June Conley) LaRue of Coshocton, Ohio, Robin Andrews of Coshocton, Ohio, David (Heather Askew) Sanders of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Rachel (Kyle) West of Columbus, Ohio; 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren on the way and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Delbert was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert Henry and Amelia Beulah LaRue, his son Delbert Carl LaRue II, his brother Jesse LaRue, and a grandson TJ Andrews.
