Dollie "Sunny" (Harvey) Stephens

Dollie “Sunny” (Harvey) Stephens, age 98, resident of Coweta went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday afternoon, October 25, 2022 at her home in Coweta, Oklahoma. Sunny was born on January 28, 1924 in Inola, Oklahoma to Jeffie Goodlow and Eunice Graphy (Dooly) Harvey. She attended Inola Schools. She married the love of her life, Herbert W. Stephens, Jr. on October 2, 1946 in El Paso County, Texas. Sunny was a devoted homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, crocheting, and needle point. Sunny was a huge LA Dodgers baseball fan.

Sunny is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Sunny was preceded in death by her parents, Jeffie Goodlow and Eunice Graphy Harvey, four brothers, Lonia Harvey, Lewis Harvey, Travis Harvey, and Alva Harvey, three sisters, Beatrice Cantrell, Dimple Brown, and Etta Jones, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 6:00 PM on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, Oklahoma. Services celebrating Sunny’s life will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 31, 2022 at the Shahan Free Will Baptist Church in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. Lynn Moss officiating.
